Given: sin theta = cos theta
Both trigonometric functions sin and cos becomes equal if theta is 45 degrees
Sin 45 = 1/Root 2
Cos 45 = 1/Root 2
So sin theta = cos theta if theta = 45 degrees

Hope it helps:)

sin θ = cos θ

sin θ/cos θ = 1

tan θ = 1

tan 45° = tan θ

θ = 45°
