Answer:

sinx = cos²

sinx = 1 - sin²x

sin²x + sinx = 1--------> (i)

cos²x(1 + cos²x) = sinx(1 + sinx)

[substituting from the value given in the question]

= sinx + sin²x

From (i), = 1
