So, P=6a ; H=10a                [:P=perpendicular,B=base,H=hypotenuse]

then, B=\sqrt{(H^{2} -P^{2})}

     B=\sqrt{(10a)^{2}-(6a)^{2}}

    B=\sqrt{100a^{2}-36a^{2}}

   B=√64a²

  B=8a

So,tanx=P/B=6a/8a=6/8=3/4

   cosx=B/H=8a/10a=8/10=4/5

cosx+tanx=4/5 +3/4= (16+15)/20

                     = 31/20
