If somatic cells are not inherited, how is information related to somatic cells (like the functioning, hereditery diseases related to somatic cells ) transfered from one generation to the other?

Even though the somatic cells are not inherited,the reproductive cell contain the information about the somatic cells i.e. the gene which are responsible for the synthesise of the protien that resuls in a particular character.
