tan2A=2tanA/1-tan²A

We have

tan2A=3/4

2tanA/1−tan²A=3/4

8tanA =3- 3 tan²A

3 tan²A+8tanA -3=0

(tanA+3)(3tanA−1)=0

tanA= -3 or 1/3

Urvish19: hey priya mam your ans is best but can you do a little favour to me by explaining me te second last step .ie ((tanA+3)(3tanA−1)=0) as i am unable to understand how 3 tan²A+8tanA -3=0 gets converted to
Urvish19: (tanA+3)(3tanA−1)=0
Urvish19: Thanks for your brainliest answer

Ok sorry for that actually my brother gave that answer
Well however I am have typed the correct answer underneath:

tan2A=2tanA/1-tan²A
So now we have
tan2A=3/4
2tanA/1−tan²A=3/4
8tanA =3- 3 tan²A
3 tan²A+8tanA -3=0
(tanA+3)(3tanA−1)=0
tanA= -3 or 1/3

I think the above mentioned answer is correct so kindly check it and note it down in your notebook

If the answer is correct please mark me the brainliest and once again sorry for that.

Urvish19: its 0k bro
