here is your answer

given tan A = 2/3

so we get Sin A = 2/√13

and Cos A = 3/√13

now consider (Sin A)^2 + (Cos A)^2

=> (2/√13)^2 + (3/√13)^2

=> 4/13 + 9/13 = 4+9/13 = 13/13 = 1

Hence this is proved
