The ratio will be 3:1

Given data :

•3/4 amount of the total letters are bills.

• Let, the total amount of letters = 1

(Here, 1 is assumed as a variable for the simplicity purpose of the whole mathematical calculations)

• Now, we have to calculate the number of other letters present in the total letters.

Other letter amount = (1-3/4) = 1/4

• Bills = 3/4

Other letters = 1/4

• Now,we have to calculate the ratio of the number of bills to the number of other letters.

• So,The ratio of Bills and other letters =

3/4 : 1/4

= (3/4) × (4/1)

= 3/1

= 3:1

• The necessary ratio is 3:1 (Answer)
