For a body thrown vertically upward, g is taken negative.
፨ Max. Height :
➝ v² - u² = 2gH
➝ 0² - 5² = 2(-10)H
➝ H = 25/20
➝ H = 1.25m
፨ Time taken :
➝ v = u + gt
➝ 0 = 5 + (-10)t
➝ t = 5/10
➝ t = 0.5s
