Given :

Initial velocity = 5m/s

Acc. due to gravity = 10m/\sf{s^2}

To Find :

We have to find max height attained by ball and time taken to reach there.

SoluTion :

For a body thrown vertically upward, g is taken negative.

Max. Height :

➝ v² - u² = 2gH

➝ 0² - 5² = 2(-10)H

➝ H = 25/20

H = 1.25m

Time taken :

➝ v = u + gt

➝ 0 = 5 + (-10)t

➝ t = 5/10

t = 0.5s

Answer:

V=0

u=5ms¹

a=10ms²

V=u+at

0=5+(-10)t

0=5-10t

10t=5

t=5/10

t=1/2

thus, time taken by the stone is 0.5 seconds.

....

t=0.5s , u =5ms¹, a=10ms²

s = ut  +  \frac{1}{2} gt  ^{2}

s=5×0.5 + 1/2×10×0.25

=2.5+1.25

=3.75

Thus, height reached=3.75m and time taken is 0.5 seconds..

plzzz mark it as the brainliest.....
