Given If the angle of elevation of Sun increases from 0° to 90°, then the length of shadow of tower decreases.

Let height of the tower h and length of the shadow be l . Now angle of elevation is 0 degree at the beginning.
So tan 0 degree = h / l
= 0
Or tan 90 = h / l
= infinity
Therefore length of shadow is 0 which is minimum.
Now as the angle of elevation increases from 0 to 90 degree, the length of shadow decreases from maximum to minimum.

The shadow in the morning will be large or longest and as time goes on when it is noon shadow is smallest, also till evening length of shadow increases.
