If the angle of elevation of the sun changes from 45 degree to 60degree ,then the length of the shadow of a pillar decreases by 10m .the height of the pillars is

In∆ABC, tan 60°=P/B
√3=AB/x
√3x=AB - (i)
In ∆ABD, tan 45°= P/B
1 = AB/10
10m=AB

Therefore,. The height of the pillar is 10m.
