By Snell’s law,
Refractive index = sin(i)/sin(r)
= sin45/sin30
= 1.4
where ‘i' is the angle of incidence and ‘r’ is the angle of refraction.
Refractive index = sin(i)/sin(r)
= sin45/sin30
= 1.4
where ‘i' is the angle of incidence and ‘r’ is the angle of refraction.

refractive index
= sin i/ sin r
sin45/ sin 30
=√2 (1.41)
= sin i/ sin r
sin45/ sin 30
=√2 (1.41)
