Given:

The area of given parallelogram is 64 cm².

Altitude of parallelogram is 8 cm,. => h = 8cm,.

We know that,

Area of parallelogram = b x h sq.units

                                  8(b)= 64

                                      b = $\frac{64}{8}$

                                      b = 8cm.

 ∴ b= h,
∴ It is a Rhombus (all the sides are equal).
