SOLUTION:

Given:

Circumference of the outer circle= 88 cm

Circumference of the inner circle= 66 cm

Circumference of  circle= 2πr

Circumference of the outer circle= 2πr1

88 = 2πr1

r1= (88 × 7)/(2×22)

r1= (88×7)/44

r1= 2× 7

r1= 14 cm

Circumference of the inner circle= 2πr2

66= 2πr2

r2= (66 × 7)/(2×22)

r2= (66×7)/44

r2= (3× 7)/2

r2= 21/2

r2= 10.5 cm

Width of the ring= r1 -r2

Width of the ring=14-10.5= 3.5 cm

Hence, the Width of the ring= 3.5 cm
