Cost of 1 pencil = 400/160 = 2.5 Rs

• The cost of 25 packets of 12 pencils each

1 packet = 12 pencils

25 packets = 25 × 12 = 300 pencils

Cost of 1 pencil = 2.5 Rs

Cost of 300 pencils = 300 × 2.5 = 750 Rs
