If the cost of a table and chair is ₹990 and the table is ₹30 more than chair. Find the cost of the chair and table​

Answer:

let cost of table be x and cost of chair be y

x + y = 990 ............. (1)

x = y + 30

by this

2y + 30 = 990

2y = 960

y = 480

x = 510
