The object will sink in the water.

• The floating or sinking of an object depends on the density of both the object and the floating medium.

• If the density of object is more than the density of the floating medium then, the object will sink in that medium,and vice versa.

• Now,in the ideal conditions,the density of the water (floating medium) is 1 gm/cm³ and the density of the object is 3 gm/cm³.

• So,here the density of the object > the density of the floating medium or water.

• So,there are chances that the object will sink in the water.
