if the diagonal of a cube is (sign) root 12 cm .find its volume.

diagonal=√12
√3a=√12 ( where a is side)
3a=12
a=4
then, the volume =12³
=1728 unit³

diagonal of cube=√3 x side length
√12 =√3 x side length
side length =√4cm=2cm

hence ,
volume of cube=(side length) ^3
=(2)^3=2 x 2 x 2
=8 cm^3
