if the diagonal of a square is doubled then area of the square becomes​

Answer:

Let, side of square be a

Then diagonal will be aroot 2

Area : a²

If diagonal becomes 2aroot 2

Then side = 2a

Area : (2a) ² : 4a²

Therefor area will be 4 times if diagonal is doubled
