we may use the distance formula

(x,3)=>(x1,y1)
(3,-6)=>(x2,y2)

we know that,

D=[(x2-x1)^+(y2-y1)^2]1\2

Putting values....and then solving....


we get,


x=9
or
x=-3


but the positive value of x is 9
