If the female plant is tetraploid and the male plant is hexaploid then what will be the ploidy level of the endosperm, the vegetative cell and the embryo ?

Endosperm- 7n(heptaploid).

Vegetative cell- 3n(triploid).

Embryo- 5n(pentaploid).

Female plant - 4n,

female gametes - 2n.

Male plant-6n,

male gametes-3n.

endosperm = two haploid polar nuclei of female + one haploid male gamete, so.. 2n+2n + 3n= 7n endosperm developes.

Vegetative cell = cell of haploid pollen grain of male plant, so.. 3n vegetative cell developes.

Embryo = haploid female gamete + haploid male gamete =2n+3n =5n embryo developes.
