If the HCF of 65 and 117 is expressible in the form of 65m-117,then find the value of m.

so, 13 = 65m-117
130 = 65m
m = 2

To find:

value of m?

First we calculate HCF of 65 and 117

HCF of  65 and 117 = 13

According to the question

65m-117=13

65m=13+117=130

m=130/65

m=2
