if the length and breadth of rectangle is doubled then what will be new area of rectangle

Here
ACTUAL AREA OF RECTANGLE = L×B
WHEN
DOUBLED...
LENGTH= 2L
BREADTH= 2B
THEREFORE NEW ARE = 2(L×B)

let the length=L

and breadth=B

So,actual area=L*B

Now,if length=2L

and breadth=2B

then, the new area will be 2L*2B=4LB
