Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Am=1/n. 1

An=1/m. 2

From eq1

a+(m-1)d=1/n. 4

From eq1 2

a+(n-1)d=1/m. 5

Eq4-Eq5

We get

d=1/mn

Putting d=1/mn in eq 1 we get

a =1/mn now

S(mn)=mn/2{2a +(mn-1)d}

Substitute a=1/mn and d=1/mn

We get

S(mn)=1/2(mn+1)
