If the mean of the number 6,7,x,8,y,16 ii 9 then :
A. x+y=21
B. x+y=17
C. x-y=21

(6+7+8+16+x+y)/6 = 9

Because, Mean={Sum of all the elements} / No. of elements.

{37+(x+y)} /6 = 9
37+(x+y)=54
x+y=54-37
x+y=17
