if the Mp of an item is 10% above the CP , find the SP of the item if the dealer wants to earn profit of 4% on item marked at Rs.550

Mrp=550
Mrp =10% above the cp
Then
Cp=mrpx100/(100+above charge)

Cp=550x100/110

Cp=₹500

Now he wants to earn 4% profit

Sp=cpx(100+profit %) /100

Sp=500x104/100

Sp=₹520
