I'm afraid you misread the formula - it should read V = 4/3 pi r^3, not 3/4. So in this case the volume = 4/3 x pi x 2.8^3; to do this on your calculator, press(4/3), x, pi ,x ,2.8, y^x, 3, = (depending on your calculator that y^x may read x^y, or you could even have x^3 so use that (or y^3, if that's what your machine has). The answer should be 91.9523.... so if you get a different answer, take your calculator to your teacher (assuming you're still at school). The unfortunate thing is that calculators vary so much in their methods of working that it's very difficult to predict exactly how an unseen one is going to react.
