Given : If the radius of a cylinder is doubled and the height remains same.

Let the radius of the cylinder be  r and the height of the cylinder be h.

So, Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Now , new radius = 2r

and new radius = h

Then ,

New Volume = π × (2r)² × h

New Volume = π × 4r²h

New Volume = 4(πr²h)

Hence, the volume will be FOUR times.
