Answer: as the bucket is in the form of frustum
so for frustum it is given that
height(h)=40 cm and two radius (r1)=35 cm (r2)=14 cm
now it is given that we have to find the volume of the bucket (in cm^3)
so the formula of frustum for volume = 1/3 x π x h x (r1^2 + r2^2 + r1 x r2 )
on putting the given values, we get
=> 1/3 x 22/7 x 40 x (35^2 +14^2+35 x 14)
=> 1/3 x 22/7 x 40 x (1225+196+490)
=> 1/3 x 22/7 x 40 x 1911
=> 22/7 x 40 x 637
=> 22 x 40 x 91
=> 80080 cm^3 = is the final answer
