Let the CP of an article be ₹(x). Then,
SP = ₹(4x/3)
SP > CP = Profit
Profit = SP - CP
= ₹(4x/3 - x)
= ₹(4x - 3x/3)
= ₹(x/3)
Profit % = (Profit ÷ CP) × 100
= (x/3 ÷ x) × 100
= (x/3 × 1/x) × 100
= 1/3 × 100
= 100/3 %
= 33 unit 1/3 %
