if the side of a square is tripled, how many times will it's area be as compared to the area of the original square​

If The Side of the Square is Normal means

Let we assume the side of square=a cm

Then area = a^2

Also if the Side is Triplet then means side=3a

Then area =9a^2.

So we see that 9 times area increases............

let the side of the original square be x.

then , it's area = x^2

after increment,

side of square= 3x

ar. of square = (3x)^2 = 9x^2

ar.of original square/ar. of increased square = x^2/9x^2 = 1/9 =1:9

Therefore, the area increase 9 times
