25

Given:

The sum of three consecutive integers is less than 75.

To Find:

Find the cube of the largest possible integer.

Solution:

Let the consecutive integer are given below:

First integer = X-1

Second integer = X

Third integer = X+ 1

It is given that sum of three consecutive integers is less than 75:

X-1+ X + X+ 1 < 75

3 X < 75

So:

X < 25

It means less than 25 integer will be 24.So we will take:

X= 24

First integer = X-1 = 24 - 1 = 23

Second integer = X = 24

Third integer = X+ 1 = 24 + 1 = 25

Then the cube of the largest possible integer is cube of 25:

Cube of largest integer = 25³ = 15625

The cube of the largest possible integer is 15625
