so 6a^2=486

Total Surface area of the cube = 6 * ( Side)^2

Given ,

T.S.A = 486

By Equating

6 * x^2 = 486

⇒ x^2 = 486

⇒ x^2 = 486/6

⇒ x^2 = 81

⇒ x = √81

⇒ x = 9


Finding the volume of the Cube

Volume of Cube = Side^3

(x * x * x)^3

⇒ ( 9 × 9 × 9 )^3

⇒ 729 cm^3
