If the value of g suddenly becomes twice its value, it will become two time more diffcult to pull a heavy object along the floor. Why ?

Earth is attracting evrythng towards its center wth an acceleratoin g as we know W = mg if g becomes twice of its value the weight of body becomes twice too , so it will be tough to pull any heavy object ....
