if the volume of right Circular Cone height 9cm is 48 pi cm3 find diameter of base .

formula for finding volume of cone is 1/3hπr²

so by putting values in it we came to the conclusion

Correct Question :-

  • If the volume of right Circular Cone is 48πcm³ and its height is 9cm, find the diameter of the base.

Given :-

  • Shape = Cone
  • Volume of Cone = 48πcm³
  • Height of the Cone = 9cm

To Find :-

  • Diameter of the base.

Solution :-

➞ Volume of Cone = ⅓ πr²h

➞ 48π = ⅓ πr² × 9

➞ 48 = ⅓ r² × 9

➞ 48 × 3 = r² × 9

➞ 144 = r² × 9

➞ 144 ÷ 9 = r²

➞ 16 = r²

➞ √16 = r

4cm = Radius

➞ Diameter = 2 × Radius

➞ Diameter = 2 × 4

➞ Diameter = 8cm

Therefore, Diameter of the Base is 8cm
