I think let a-b=alpha,a=beeta,a+ b=gamma
sum of zeroes=-b/a
then compare a=x^3,b=3x^2,c=x and d=1
alpha+beeta+gamma=-3/1
alpha*beeta+beeta*gamma+gamma*alpha=c/a
1/1=1
alpha*beeta*gamma=-d/a
-1/1=-1
