Answer:  The required number of eggs given to the 30th student is 536870912.

Step-by-step explanation:  Given that there are 30 students in a class room and I gave 1 egg to first student and the first student pass the egg by doubling it to 2nd and 2nd gave by doubling the egg to 3rd and so on.

We are to find the number of eggs given to the 30th student.

Since the number of eggs is being doubled every time, so the sequence of the number of eggs given to first, second, third, . . .  student will be  geometric.

The first term of the geometric sequence is

a = 1

and the common ratio is

r = 2.

We know that

the nth term of a geometric sequence with first term a and common ratio r is given by

a_n=ar^{n-1}.

Therefore, the 30th term of the sequence is

a_{30}=ar^{30-1}=1\times2^{29}=2^{29}=536870912.

Thus, the required number of eggs given to the 30th student is 536870912.
