if two thirds of a rational number exceeds it's three fifths by 7/3 find the rational number

→ Let the rational number be "x"

According to question we have,

→ 2/3 of x = 3/5 of x + 7/3

→ 2x/3 = 3x/5 + 7/3

→ 2x/3 - 3x/5 = 7/3

→ 10x - 9x / 15 = 7/3

→ x/15 = 7/3

→ 3x = 7 × 15

→ x = 7 × 15 / 3

→ x = 35

Hence, the required rational number = 35.
