First we draw the graph of linear equation given below.

Then we find the triangle form by the lines.

Triangle area-1/2 × Base × Height

We will take height as the coordinate form above the y-axis and coordinate of y which is 2.

And the base including base part of triangle which is form in x-axis

And base is 3.

We will put height and base in area of triangle.

1/2 × 3 × 2 = 3

Traingle area will be 3 sq units.
