 \huge \mathfrak{solution}

Given:

x+1,3x and 4x+2 are in A.P

To find :

x=?

For AP .

T2-T1=T3-T2

Here ,

T1= x+1

T2= 3x

T3= 4x+2

=> 3x-(x+1)= 4x+2-(3x)

=> 3x-x-1=4x+2-3x

=>2x-1=x+2

=> 2x-x=2+1

=> x= 3

So ,the value of X is 3.
