x+1/x=3-----(1)
do the square of both sides
x^2+1/x^2+2=9
x^2+1/x^2=7----(2)
x^3+1/x^3=(x+1/x)[x^2+1/x^2+1]
=3*(7+1)[since (1) and (2)]
=3*8
=24
do the square of both sides
x^2+1/x^2+2=9
x^2+1/x^2=7----(2)
x^3+1/x^3=(x+1/x)[x^2+1/x^2+1]
=3*(7+1)[since (1) and (2)]
=3*8
=24
