put x=2-a
y=2+a
3x-2y+6=0
3(2-a)-2(2+a)+6=0
6-3a-4-2a+6=0
-5a+8=0
-5a= -8
a=8/5

x = 2- a
y = 2 + a
3x-2y+6=0
3(2-a)-2(2+a)+6 = 0
6-3a-4-2a+6 = 0
-5a+8 = 0
a = 8/5
