if x=-2 & x square + y square + 3 x y = - 5 then find y

y=3
{-2}^2 +Y^2 +{3×(-2)×Y}=-5
4+Y^2-6Y= -5
-Y{-Y + 6}= - 9
Y{6-Y}= 9
by hit and trial we get Y=3
