SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

If x =2 , then value of the polynomial 3x(4x-5)+3 will be

EVALUATION

Here the given polynomial is

 \sf{3x(4x - 5) + 3}

Putting x = 2 we get

 \sf{ = (3 \times 2) \times  \bigg[(4 \times 2) - 5 \bigg]  + 3}

 \sf{ = 6 \times  \bigg[8 - 5 \bigg]  + 3}

 \sf{ =( 6 \times 3)  + 3}

 \sf{ =18 + 3}

 \sf{ =21}

FINAL ANSWER

Given:

3x(4x-5)+3

To find:

if x=2, then the value of the polynomial 3x(4x-5)+3 will be?

Solution:

3x(4x-5)+3

Substitute the value of x=2 in the given polynomial.

 =  > 3x(4x - 5) + 3

 =  > 3 \times 2((4 \times 2)  - 5) + 3

 =  > 6(8 - 5) + 3

 =  > 6(3) + 3

 =  > 18  + 3

 =  > 21

Hence, if x=2, then the value of the polynomial 3x(4x-5)+3 will be 21
