if x and y are the soln of the eqn then substituting the values of x and y

3a(-2)+2a(6)=6

-6a+12a=6

6a=6

a=1

now looking at the second eqn where we have to find the value of b.

we substitute the value of a in it

2(1-1)+2(3b-4)=4

2(0)+6b-8=4

6b-8=4

6b=12

b=2
