hiiiii friend!!!!!!
x = 7 + √40
x = 7 + 2√10
= (√5)^2 + (√2)^2 + 2√(5*2)
= (√5 + √2)^2
√x = √5+√2
1/√x = 1/(√5+√2)
1/√x = (√5 - √2) / 3
√x + 1/√x = (3√5 + 3√2 + √5 - √2) / 3
√x + 1/√x = (4√5 + 2√2) / 3

i think it may help u!!!!!!

x=7+√40

=7+2√10

=5+2+2√10

=(√5)²+2.√5.√2+(√2)²

=(√5+√2)²

∴√x=√5+√2 (neglecting the negative sign)

1/√x=1/(√5+√2)

=(√5-√2)/(√5+√2)(√5-√2)

=(√5-√2)/(5-2)

=(√5-√2)/3

√x+1/√x

=(√5+√2)+(√5-√2)/3

=(3√5+3√2+√5-√2)/3

=(4√5+2√2)/3

=2(2√5+√2)/3
