if x= p+2 find the value of p from the equation p-x-3/3= 2/3 (4-x)

by sub.....x=p+2 in eqn 
we get p-(p+2)-3/3=2/3(4-(p+2))
-5/3=2/3(2-p)
-5/2=2-p
p=2+(5/2)
therefore p=9/2
