Step-by-step explanation:

X+y=2xy.............(1)

x-y=6xy........(2)

Divide eq(1) & (2) by XY on both sides

x/xy + y/xy = 2xy/xy

1/y +1/x = 2...............(3)

x/xy - y/xy = 6xy/xy

1/y - 1/x = 6....................(4)

Adding eq (3) & (4)

1/y +1/y = 6+2

2/y = 8

8y = 2

y= 2/8 = 1/4

y= 1/4

Put this value of y in eq (3)

1/y +1/x = 2

4+ 1/x = 2

1/x = 2-4

1/x =-2

x= -1/2

X + 2y

= -1/2 + 2×1/4

= -1/2 + 1/2

= 0 (Ans)

Hope it's help you........
