if (x+y+z)=10 and x^2+y^2+z^2=40,then (xy+yz+zx) is equal to ?​

Answer:

We know that

(x+y+z)^2=x^2+y^2+z^2+2xy+2yz+2zx

So, ATQ x+y+z=10

x^2+y^2+z^2=40

then,

10^2=40+2(xy+yz+xx)

=>100=40+2(xy+yz+xx)

=>xy+yz+xx=(100-40)/2

=>xy+yz+xx=30
