z= ( 2+ 10x) ÷ 2
z= 1+5x
now
y+ z = 3-5x + 1+ 5x
= 4 ( xs get cancelled)

Given:

y =  3 - 5x

2z = 2 + 10x

To find:

y + z

Solution:

z = 2 + 10x / 2

z = 1 + 5x

y + z = 3 - 5x + 1 + 5x

Cancelling x terms,

3 + 1

Hence, y + z = 4
