y = x-2 [given]

To find :- value of x and y

Solution :- x + y = 180°

=> x + x - 2 = 180° [y = x-2, given]

=> 2x - 2 = 180°

=> 2x = 180° + 2

=> 2x = 182°

=> x = 182/2

=> x = 91°

y = x-2
=> y = 91° - 2
=> y = 89°

HOPE IT HELPS YOU....

\large\mathsf{Given \ two \ equations \ -}

\mathsf{y \ = \ x - 2}

\mathsf{On \ solving \ further}

\textbf{x - y = 2} ______(1)

\mathsf{And}

\textbf{x + y \ = \ 180}

\mathsf{Add \ these \ equations}

\mathsf{x - y + x + y \ = \ 2 + 180}

\mathsf{2x \ = \ 182}

\large\mathsf\red{\boxed{x \ = \ 91}}

\mathsf{Put \ this \ in \ (1)}

\mathsf{91 - y \ = \ 2}

\large\mathsf\red{\boxed{y \ = \ 89}}
